Temp droppin but these recipes poppin
We’re slowly moving out of the summer months and into the fall and winter months! Finally some relief from the heat. But with that seasonal change comes a variety of things. Many individuals forget that this change also requires a shift in daily routines/habits.
Here are a few things to remember as this season changes:
Wear warm layers when leaving the house to go to the gym so your body can prepare to move.
Get more sleep- if you’ve been lingering around the 6-7hr mark this summer, its best to up it to 8-9hrs during the winter months to allow your immune system to recharge and protect you.
If you aren’t already, consider implementing immune fighting foods into your diet. For some examples, check out a previous article here.
Drink a lot of water. During the summer months it's easy to remember to drink water since you’re hot and thirsty, however most individuals get more dehydrated in the winter since it's easy to forget when it's cold outside and you’re not sweating.
On that note, keep sweating! Get your daily workout/form of movement even when it's raining or the temp drops. Wear more layers if you’re leaving to go to the gym or create a space for yourself at home to still move.
